About Our Childcare

Our program started in June of 2020. For the first two years, we were located in the schools lower level. The Cornerstone Center, a  new addition completed in July of 2022, is connected to our 150 year old church and houses Christ Lutheran Early Childhood Community. The childcare houses four classrooms; infants, toddler 1, toddler 2, and preschool/after school. There is an indoor gym for childcare and a shared kitchen with the church. The kitchen is connected to the fellowship hall and used for many purposes. 

Christ Lutheran Early Childhood Community is open Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm. We provide quality care for infants six weeks old through Preschool age children. We offer an After School Program for CLS students. The intentional early education program focuses on the development of the whole child. We use Creative Curriculum, Nebraska Early Guidelines, and One in Christ as well as many purposeful hands-on experiences. Picnics, sensory activities, Jesus time, crafts, fine motor games, adventure walks, and so much more! 

Hailey Crumley (Phelps) is our Childcare Director for Christ Lutheran Early Childhood Community.

Hailey has many years of experience in program management, an Early Childhood Education degree, and more than 10 years of experience working with children and families. She is passionate about providing quality Christian care for all children and families.

Hailey loves nature and in her free time she enjoys gardening, camping, kayaking, swimming, hunting and fishing with her husband and two sons.
